THERE’S A
NEW BOSS
IN TOWN
Two years ago, singer-songwriter and advocate for the arts, Bossi, made her music debut with Run with Lions, a triumphant collection of six songs written and recorded during her second battle with breast cancer. “Music has always been my way of processing emotion and sharing important stories about the world around me,” says Bossi. “In the face of mortality at such a young age, I realized I could no longer neglect my gifts.” Now, after processing the immense fear and grief that accompany any major health crisis, Bossi is more resolute than ever, focusing her artistry on exploring the female experience—both her own and that of other women whose stories evoke equal parts inspiration and rage.
This reflection has culminated in Bossi’s upcoming full-length album, Tell All the Other Girls, a thirteen-song tour de force that delves into the restrictive narratives imposed on women throughout history, their collective struggle against societal expectations, and the personal efforts each must make to achieve self-actualization in a patriarchal world. Produced by Justin Glasco (Paris Paloma, Imagine Dragons, The Lone Bellow), the album is slated for release in spring 2025.
In addition to her music, Bossi is highly regarded for her commitment to social impact. During the height of the pandemic, she was tapped by the United Nations to Executive Produce, co-write, and perform an original anthem for their World Mental Health Day campaign. She has performed at the Near Future Summit, Deepak Chopra’s Never Alone Summit alongside Jewel, Russell Brand, and Ozomatli, and in venues worldwide. Bossi is an active member of Nexus Global and the Impact Guild. She also founded House of Bossi, an artist residency program, concert series, and creative space that incubates, showcases, and supports talent ranging from musicians to visual artists, storytellers, and activists. By combining mentorship with access to resources and community, Bossi is helping shape the independent arts scene in Los Angeles and building a legacy of patronage.
